Welcome to Storyzz.com, a platform developed and maintained by Kiss-Hanzsa Ltd. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the platform.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Hungarian law. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
1. Introduction
1.1 Storyzz.com ("the Platform") is operated by Kiss-Hanzsa Ltd, a company registered under the laws of Hungary. The platform allows writers to create, publish, and monetize their stories and allows readers to access and rate the content.
1.2 By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which include our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices posted on the Platform.

2. Definitions
- "We," "us," "our" refers to Kiss-Hanzsa Ltd.
- "You," "your" refers to the user of the Platform, whether a writer, reader, or administrator.
- "Platform" refers to Storyzz.com, the website and its related services.
- "Story" refers to any written content published by a writer on the Platform.
- "Account" refers to the user’s profile registered on the Platform.
- "Subscription Plan" refers to the pricing plans available on the Platform.
- "Monetization" refers to the ability of writers to sell or otherwise charge for access to their stories.
3. User Registration & Account
3.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform.
3.2 Account Creation: To access certain features, such as publishing stories or accessing premium content, you may need to create an account. You must provide accurate, up-to-date information during registration.
3.3 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
3.4 Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms and Conditions or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
4. Story Creation, Publication & Monetization
4.1 Story Submission: Users may create and submit stories for publication on the Platform. All stories must comply with our Content Guidelines (available on the Platform).
4.2 Monetization: Writers can choose to sell their stories or offer them for free. Writers receive 80% of the revenue from the sale of their published stories, with the Platform retaining a 20% commission.
4.3 Story Rating: Paid members may rate stories. A story will be considered "published" once it has received 5 ratings from users.
4.4 Release Workflow: A story moves through the following states:
- Draft: Saved but unpublished.
- Released: Available for curation by premium and curator users.
- Published: After receiving an average ratings higher than 2 within 24 hours, the story is accessible to all users.
4.5 Pricing: Writers can set a price for their stories or choose to make them free. Stories are only monetized once they are published.
5. Subscription Plans & Payments
5.1 Subscription Plans: We offer different subscription plans with varying levels of access to the Platform:
- Basic Plan: Access to published stories only.
- Premium Plan: Allows you to curate up to 5 stories per day.
- Curator Plan: Unlimited access to released stories.
5.2 Payment Methods: We use Stripe (or a similar service) for processing payments for subscriptions and story purchases.
5.3 Refunds: Subscriptions are non-refundable unless required by law. Please check the details of your chosen plan before completing your payment.
5.4 Writer Payments: Writers will receive payouts through Stripe, with 75, 80 or 85% of the revenue (based on subscription plan) from story sales being sent to the writer.
5.5 Payment Fees: Apart from Platform Fee Stripe deductes certain amount from each transaction as transfer fee.
6. Content Moderation
6.1 Content Standards: Users are prohibited from uploading or posting any content that is illegal, defamatory, offensive, or violates the rights of others.
6.2 Reporting Inappropriate Content: Users may report inappropriate or offensive stories via the reporting feature available on the Platform. We will review such reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing the content or suspending the user's account.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
7.1 Personal Data: By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.
7.2 Data Protection: We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to ensure the security and privacy of your personal information.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Ownership: All content and intellectual property rights in and to the Platform, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and software, are owned by Kiss-Hanzsa Ltd or its licensors.
8.2 License to Use Content: By submitting a story to the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute the story on the Platform and as part of promotional materials.
8.3 User-Generated Content: You retain ownership of any content you create, but you grant us a license to use it on the Platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Platform Availability: We make no guarantees regarding the availability or functionality of the Platform. We will not be liable for any disruptions or failures of the Platform.
9.2 User Liability: You are solely responsible for the content you upload to the Platform and any legal consequences resulting from such content.
9.3 Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kiss-Hanzsa Ltd from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of your use of the Platform, including any violation of these Terms and Conditions.
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@storyzz.com or through the settings page in your account.
10.2 Termination by Us: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in activities that may harm the Platform or other users.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary.
11.2 In case of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through negotiation. If a resolution is not reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent court in Budapest, Hungary.
12. Miscellaneous
12.1 Amendments: We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be updated accordingly.
12.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
